The plane was based near Sacramento. It has had excellent maintenance for many many years. The turbochargers are on a fourth control, so you can fly it completely non-turbo until you need more manifold pressure, at which time you simply dial in the missing inches until you have the 24 inches that you need. It is an excellent system in excellent.
